Event Information
What: YetiCon 4 (64 Playercap)
Where: SOLD OUT – EVENT IS BY REGISTRATION ONLY
When: Doors will open at 2:00 p.m. and close at 2:00ish a.m. Friday, October 17
Doors will open at 12:00 p.m. and close at 2:00ish a.m. on Saturday, October 18
Events will have the following start times:
- Premodern: Friday @ 3pm.
- Sorcery: Friday @ 5pm.
- Cubes: Friday @ 3pm.
- Old School Main: Saturday @ 1pm.
Why: Every year YetiCon donates all proceeds, after event expenses, from the event to a charity. This year, all proceeds from our event will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project and the Native American Rights Fund.
Charity raffle (ATM on site but please bring cash). Please contact Jared Miller (Sarevok) or Evan DeWitt (sketchykeep) on Discord if you would like to donate an item to the charity raffle.
This year we will be joined by Anson Maddocks as our feature Artist. We have also extended an invitation to Dan Frazier and will know his attendance plans closer to the event time. We will also be joined by Sorcery Artist Truitt Parrish.
Meals will be provided throughout both days with entry (vegan and vegetarian options available)! Entry also includes snacks, beer ticket(s), and custom swag! Additional prizes will be given to top finishers! Mini games, orb flipping contest, and spinning the Wheel of Fortune will be available.
Premodern Info: (Friday)
- Tournament structure will be 5-6 rounds + Top 8.
- Decklists must be submitted through Melee.gg prior to the event start.

- We will start Round 1 as close to 3pm as possible. Please arrive 30 minutes early to check in.
- Dinner, drink ticket, and snacks included in registration (vegan and veggie options available)
- Each participant will receive a stamped premodern card and bonus swag.
- Top 16 will receive an additional stamped premodern prize card.
- Top 4 will receive an additional unstamped prize card (can be stamped on request).
- One Spice Master award will be given out.
- Results from the tournament will be posted on TCDecks and MTG Top8
- Deck construction follows the official Premodern rules, with gold-bordered (WC, CE/IE) cards allowed and reprints permitted. 2 proxies allowed!
Sorcery event Info: (Friday)
- Format will be 1v1 constructed.
- Deck sizes will be 50 spells 30 atlas.
- The games shall be bound by time; each contest shall endure for a span of 50 minutes. Should we hit time, please plan to start a 5 turn clock and end on your own terms. Either orb flips (chaos twister) or highest life, etc.
- 2HD likely will be played on site!
- Dust prizes will be arranged.
- There shall be no bans or alternative house rules—Chaos Twister is, of course, permitted. We shall adhere to the current mulligan edict of three cards in total, between Atlas and Spellbook.
Cube Event Info: (Friday) Two cube masters with refined cubes.
- No Decks required – please sign up if interested and show up on time.
- Find your assigned Cube master, and listen to the rules, quirks, themes, etc.
- Draft your deck!
- Play your rounds. Straight swiss pairings!
- Receive prizes, and please return the cube deck back to the cube master!
- Note: Due to the overwhelming interest in cube, we will fire cubes from 3 p.m. until close on Friday.
Old School Main Info: (Saturday)
- Tournament structure will be 64 player cap, 6 rounds (Top 8 TBD). We will have lunch around 12:15 and we will break after round 6-7 p.m. for Dinner.
- Format: Atlantic Base, Gentleman’s Club. You will be allowed to run 0-4 strip mines. For every strip mine you include in your deck beyond the first, you must remove either Library of Alexandria, Mind Twist, and/or Ancestral Recall from your deck. You may not include these cards, once removed, in your side board. Mountain Yeti has also been errata’d to have 3 power and 4 toughness.
- Reprint Allowances: typical EC/American reprint allowance is in effect, meaning only original art, original frame, and non-foil printings are allowed, including Revised, 4th/Chronicles, FBB/FWB, CE/IE, WC, and APs. (Note: 2 proxies are legal this year – RMY yeti event cards/raffle cards always legal. Proxies MUST accurately resemble the original card. Please note, 2024 YetiCon Death errata’d cards are not legal for this event).
- Decklists must be submitted via a google form prior to the event start.
- We will start Round 1 as close to 1:30 pm as possible. Please arrive around 12:00 to check in and grab lunch!
- Lunch, Dinner, drink ticket, and snacks included in registration (vegan and veggie pizza options available).
- Each participant will receive a stamped entry card and bonus swag.
- Top 8 will receive an additional stamped swedish legal prize card.
- Top 4 spice will receive an additional swedish legal prize card.
